Hillsborough County Coaching Certification Class

Thursday, January 26th at 7:15pm

Keystone Little League will be hosing a Hillsborough County Coaching Certification Class on Thursday, January 26th at 7:15pm.  The class will be held at the Westchase Recreation Center, located behind Westchase Elementary School.

Per Hillsborough County rules, all coaches at Keystone Little League are required to receive a coaching certification (this is required separately from any coaches clinics or background checks).  If you do not have a county coaching certification or it expires prior to May 31, 2012, you are required to attain/renew a coaching certification prior to the beginning of the season.

• Who:  All KLL Volunteers who do not have a valid coaching certification card
• What:  Hillsborough County Coaching Certification Class
• Where: Westchase Rec Center, 9791 Westchase Drive Tampa, FL 33626 (map)
• When:  Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 7:15pm
• Why:  To comply with Hillsborough County certification requirements to coach at Keystone Little League.
• Cost:  Free

Major Division Tryouts are this weekend.  All 11 and 12 year old players are required to try out.  The dates/times are:

• Saturday, January 7 – 10am
• Sunday, January 8 – 2pm

Tryouts will start promply at the schedule times, so please arrive early to give your son enough time to warm up. Players are :

• to wear baseball attire and bring glove, helmet, and bat
• to meet at the concession area where they will be assigned to their tryout groups.
• expected to attend BOTH tryout days.

The tryout sessions will last about 3 hours each.  If you have questions OR your player is unable to attend either or both sessions, email doug.fagan@keystonell.org.

Wednesday, January 4th  is the last day to register for the 2012 Spring Seasons at Keystone Little League.  To guarantee that your child will play this spring season, please register online and bring your documentation to our on-site registration.  Registration is held at the Keystone Little League Board Room at Ed Radice Park.

• On-site: Wednesday, January 4, 2011 – 6pm-9pm
• Registration CLOSED – Wed, Jan 4, 2011 @ 9:00pm

This is the last week to register for the 2012 Spring Seasons at Keystone Little League.  To guarantee that your child will play this spring season, please register online and bring your documentation to our On-site registration at the Keystone Little League Board Room at Ed Radice Park.  The final three on-site registration days and times are:

• On-site: Monday, January 2, 2011 – 6pm-9pm
  
• On-site: Tuesday, January 3, 2011 – 6pm-9pm
• On-site: Wednesday, January 4, 2011 – 6pm-9pm
• Registration CLOSED – Wed, Jan 4, 2011 @ 9:00pm

On-Site Registration continues this Saturday, December 17th, from 10am – 4pm at the Keystone Little League Board Room at Ed Radice Park.  Please remember that you must first register online before finalizing your registration with proof of birth and residence at the on-site registration.

We had 98 players complete in-person registration last Saturday which is approximately 10% of total registrations anticipated.  With only 4 more opportunities to finalize registration in-person, the lines will grow longer the longer you wait.

So, if you want to beat the last-minute rush to register in January, come this Saturday.  And as an added perk, get entered into the Target $100 Gift Card Raffle that was advertised last week.  Details on how that works included below:

• Anyone who completed online and on-site registration last Saturday, December 10th, was entered into a drawing TWICE for a… $100 GIFT CARD to TARGET!
• Anyone who completes online and on-site registration by 4pm this Saturday, December 17th, will have their name entered into this drawing ONCE for this same $100 GIFT CARD to TARGET.
• The winner will be announced after the completion of in-person registration on December 17th and the gift card will be hand-delivered to the winner the next day.
